Thomas and Thomas Solicitors is an established South Wales law firm providing trusted legal advice to individuals and businesses across the region. Due to continued growth within our Conveyancing Department, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Conveyancing Fee Earner to join our expanding team.
Requirements
- Previous experience of handling a residential conveyancing casehold.
- Strong knowledge of the residential conveyancing process.
- Excellent client care and communication skills.
- Ability to manage workloads effectively and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Good IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office and case management systems.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
This role would be suitable for
- Qualified Solicitor
- Licenced Conveyancer
- Legal Executive
- Experienced non-qualified Fee Earner
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion.
- Handle freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, transfers of equity, remortgages and new-build transactions.
- Conduct title reviews and report clearly to clients.
- Liaise professionally with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and other solicitors.
- Prepare and review contracts and other legal documentation.
- Manage exchange and completion processes.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, anti money laundering and internal risk-management requirements.
- Maintain accurate file records and keep the case management system up to date at all times.
- Deliver excellent client care and build strong client relationships.
